Survival of the Fittest

Grades 9-12

In the animal world, only the strong survive. Lucky for you, you have the help of your friends. Team building is the name of the game here, for humans and animals. Learn about natural selection and survival strategies, while having wild adventures all your own.

In the morning, the early bird gets ... to meet a pachyderm! You're off on a trek across the park to join in an activity that only the Elephant Team can provide. Sleepover includes dinner, continental breakfast, and T-shirt and a water bottle.

This sleepover is designed for scout groups, school groups, and other youth organizations, and includes:

  • Hike through the zoo after dark
  • An up-close animal encounter that focuses on successful physical and behavioral adaptations for survival in the wild
  • Fun competition in interactive games designed to enhance your team building skills
  • Participation in a special team building activity that only the Elephant Team can provide
  • Sharing ideas for involvement in Conservation that will help us all be winners
